In their second episode of the successful Protecting Lives and Livelihoods webinar series, Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) hosted esteemed panellists on 17 November to discuss how the state’s technical capacity can be improved, while implementing sustainable solutions which will see tangible long-term benefits. The concepts of skills development, sustainable change and public capacity to implement infrastructure effectively were discussed.

Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) recently hosted the third instalment of their Protecting Lives and Livelihoods webinar series. The series aims to highlight the importance of quality infrastructure for South Africa’s social and economic development. On 26 March, panellists discussed whether professionalising the state would lead to improved service delivery, and what value the private sector could add.
